ACTNews, JAKARTA – As Eid-ul-Adha 1439 AH is approaching in the next few days, Muslims around the world are preparing to welcome the Day of Sacrifice. This special occasion is widely known as a moment of sharing the happiness of qurbani. Every Muslim who has the means strives to perform one of the recommended acts of worship in Islam.
Global Qurban – Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) has initiated new innovative programs for people to perform qurbani. Not only within the country, the Indonesians who live overseas can also perform their qurbani through Global Qurban.
“We also facilitate those who live overseas to perform qurbani,” said Rifqi Ahmad Riyanto of Global Qurban’s Partnership.
Riyanto also added that performing animal sacrifice overseas can be done through three channels: Global Qurban’s bank accounts, PayPal, and online platforms.
“With the advancement of technology, there are features that can facilitate us to perform qurbani. It is easier through platforms like crowdfunding and online marketplace. We can use our credit cards,” Riyanto explained.
Global Qurban’s innovation has gained much enthusiasm. Wherever they are around the world, people can make order and purchase of the sacrificial animals through Global Qurban. “There are hundreds who are interested,” said Riyanto.
In Eid-ul-Adha 1438 AH, Global Qurban has facilitated around 230 people overseas. They came from countries like Australia, Netherlands, Canada, Japan, Germany, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, USA, and Turkey. “Most of them came from Germany, around 42 people,” he added.
Based on Global Qurban’s reports, Global Qurban’s innovative programs also facilitate many foreigners. Through vast partnership expansion, Rifqi said, many non-Indonesian NGOs are interested to perform qurbani through Global Qurban.
“Alhamdulillah, many foreigners in foreign NGOs are also interested to perform their qurbani through Global Qurban. They even often ask for the meat if their qurbani animals to be distribute for Indonesians,” Riyanto concluded.
